Q. What are the benefits of shopping with ThriftMouse?

Q. What to expect?

• Come back and shop AGAIN, things are always shifting, being put back, and many items are 1/2 price on Sunday

Q. How do I get the best deals?

• Become a Consignor or a VIP. Consignors shop before the public and our VIPs shop first (translation: they get the best deals).
   

• You can also shop our Sunday discount day. Many items marked with “Discount” and are 50% off on Sunday!

Q. How can I find out about future sales?

Bookmark our website, join our mailing list and like us on Facebook. You will be notified of upcoming sales and important updates before each sale event.

Q. What types of payments do you accept?

We prefer cash, but we also accept Visa, MC and Debit Cards with valid photo ID.

Q. Can I return any items I purchase?

All sales are final. Because our Events are only a few days, we can not offer returns. We ask that you please be sure to thoroughly inspect and test all goods before you purchase them.

We do have an inspection station for anyone who wants to have an item opened or tested to make sure it has all pieces and works properly. Please do not take items apart on the sales floor. Ask a VIP for assistance. While we do our best to check all items that are for sale, we are 100% Consignor operated so sometimes unacceptable things make their way on the sales floor. We want to remove those items as soon as they're discovered!

Q. Can I bring my children with me?

Children are allowed however, we strongly suggest that you leave them at home if at all possible. Our sales are crowded & busy and are not always a fun or safe place for small children. However, if you have no alternatives for child care then of course your children are welcome. For your child's safety, WE ASK THAT YOUR CHILDREN REMAIN WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES AND THAT THEY DO NOT PLAY WITH OR ON ANY OF THE ITEMS OFFERED. This allows us to maintain a highest quality of our consignors’ items available to our shoppers. If your child damages an item you will be required to pay for it, it wouldn't be fair to our consignors otherwise.
Strollers without baskets are welcome.

Please keep in mind that you can do some serious bargain hunting at our Events. This type of shopping takes a great deal of your attention and we all know shopping with little ones can be distracting.

Q. Do I need a special Pass to get in to shop?

We have pre-sale days and times for our Consignors, VIP Consignors, New Moms, Military, First Responders, Teachers and Foster Parents. You WILL need a pass to shop any of these pre-sales. You DO NOT need a pass to shop on our public sale days and times.

Q. Is there a charge to enter the sale or to park?

We do not charge our shoppers admission and parking is free.

Q. What kinds of things do you sell?

Items for sale include children's clothing sizes preemie to teen, maternity clothes, shoes and other kid accessories. We also have a large variety of toys, both indoor and outdoor, nursery and kid's room furniture, bed, bath and feeding supplies. You will also find books, videos, games, crafts, strollers, high chairs, car seats, booster seats and much, much more.

Q. Are there any early shopping opportunities?

Our VIP Consignors shop first. You do have to be a consignor to be a VIP.

We do offer a limited number of opportunities for the general public to barter in exchange for a pre-sale pass. Please make sure you are on our mailing list so you can get an email when this opportunity is offered. These spots do fill quickly.

We also have a limited number of New Mom pre-sale passes available each sale for families welcoming a new baby. There are also special shopping times for Teachers, Foster Parents, Military and First Responders, please see our main shopper page for additional details.

Q. Do you allow strollers?

Yes, but please understand the sale gets crowded at certain times. It may be easier to bring a list with your children's sizes and have your children stay with someone else while you shop. If you choose to bring your children, we require they stay with you at all times.

• Strollers without baskets are welcome. Strollers must be empty, except for your sweet child of course. No diaper bags, large purses, etc.
   

• For security reasons your stroller, infant carrier, etc. will be tagged upon entering.
   

• We will also be checking all bags and strollers upon departure for security.

Please consider leaving your strollers in your car while you shop as it may be difficult to move around the crowded space with such large items.

Q. May I try on items?

No, we do not allow items to be removed from the sale floor. Please bring your child’s measurements and a tape measure.

• A quick way to check the length of pants is to measure a pair from home using a piece of string. Cut the string so it is from the waist to the bottom of the pant leg. If the pants at the sale are shorter then the string, you know they will be too short on your child.
   

• Trace around your child’s foot on a piece of paper or cardboard, cut it out and bring it with you to slip into shoes. We encourage you to leave your children at home and this is the best way to see “if the shoe fits”.
   

• We are sorry, but there are no dressing rooms available

Q. Are you a store?

No, we are not a store. We are a seasonal sale’s event. All items are owned by our consignors which many of them are other local mom’s, grandmas, etc. Please sign up for our mailing list to be notified of our next sale!

Q. Do you carry inventory throughout the year?

No, all items are owned by our consignors. They bring their items to our events and either pick-up their unsold items or donate them to our charity partner at the close of our publc sale.

Q. Do you carry only children's clothing?

No. At our events we carry children's furniture, nursery bedding, maternity clothing and nursing accessories and infant equipment (such as strollers, high chairs, car seats and portable cribs). We also carry high quality toys, children's books, games and sports accessories.

Q. Am I a NEW Mom?

A new mom is anyone who is pregnant with their FIRST child, or their first child is less than one year old. New moms are allowed to bring ONE guest (spouse, grandparent, friend, etc.) to help you shop the sale early for a great selection of all the things you'll need for baby. You can continue to shop during this pre-sale time of each sale until that child turns one. To register to shop as a new mom, register here.

Q. Are Military & First Responders allowed to shop early?

Yes, there is a special pre-sale time for Military and First Responders (Police, Fire, EMTs & 911 personnel). Please see our main shopper page
